She received her law degree in the year 2000 from Yale Law School where she was an Coker Fellow for Constitutional Law and served as an attorney clerk for the Honourable Juan R. Torruella on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in San Juan Puerto Rico. She is a member of the State Bar of New York (2003 as well as Connecticut 2003). Asha has been a frequent contributor to ABC News and has written opinion pieces for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.
